1. Can you tell us a little bit about the band for those that have never heard of you before?
Will Righ: Instorm is melodic death metal band from Russia. Our music combines beautiful melodies, dynamic riffs, high-speed solos and passages in classical style. Lyrics are in English. Expressive vocal perfectly conveys the meaning of the songs.

2. How would you describe your musical sound?
Maarri Talovainen: At first I wanna say that we searched our sound a long while. Primarily it related to guitars. We’re very picky about creativity. Melodic guitars are the main part of the Instorm’s sound. They give tone all music and others instruments harmoniously supplement them. Bass adds fullness, keyboard – atmosphere, drums – power and beauty of cause.

3. What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the music?
Maarri Talovainen: Our lyrics tell about human’s feelings like sorrow, desperate, loneliness, fears, madness and others.

4. What is the meaning and inspiration behind the bands name?
Will Righ: Instorm completely characterizes our music, which is fast, straight-out, unpredictable and powerful. When you listen to Instorm you get it as if you’d get in the storm.:) Our creativity has inspired us to choose the title of the band. We didn’t want a meaningless or improper name, so we got that one which best of all characterizes our songs.

5. What are some of the best shows that the band has played so far and how would you describe your stage performance?
Will Righ: We’re trying to do every our concert memorable. Perhaps, we’ve got a story about live in Dmitov. It was our first gig out of Moscow, so we were a little excited. We thought about how people will meet us there? When we started to play, public began to jump, headbang and dance. We had a great communication with people after the gig. They asked us to come back. We felt right at home and we didn’t wanna leave.
Instorm has a powerful energy that radiates on the stage. We can take a breath only in the moments between songs, all rest time we’re in action.

6. Do you have any touring or show plans for the future?
Maarri Talovainen: We have no plans on tour yet but we’re gonna do this in the future. At summer we’ll play on several festivals, also we’ve got thoughts about gig-presentation after release Madness Inside.

7. On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your music by fans of melodic death metal?
Will Right: We contact with fans from different countries (Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Denmark, France, etc.). They give us the positive feedbacks. People like our melody and speed, also they say that we’re playing a great metal. I think it’s cool!
