Battle Helm

Cryptic formed in Poland in 2000, released a demo in 2004 and in 2010 they saw fit to release a debut album. You can't accuse them of rushing it. Which is a change from all the Youtube and Myspace stress of being seen or being forgotten. As this is my first encounter with Cryptic I have no idea what kind of progress they've been through but I bet it only did them good to wait releasing an album. Cryptic brings forth feelings of a past when everything was new and fresh. Like it felt back in the late 80s/early 90s when the whole Swedish death metal scene exploded. With the exception that today it's not new or even fresh. It is still good to hear a death metal album that brings back those kind of feelings. "Infinite Torment" does that to me.
